Learning is what drives us: this is how we develop as a team

At Nexus Group, learning is part of our culture. We are constantly developing—both individually and as a team. For example, in marketing, we work specifically on AI skills with meetings and development plans.

Standing still is not an option for us. At Nexus Group, we firmly believe that continuous learning is essential not only on a personal level, but also for business. In a constantly changing world, curiosity, development, and the willingness to learn are key factors for success—for each individual team member and for Nexus Group as a whole.

However, for us, learning is not a one-off event, but an integral part of our work culture.

It starts with an attitude of openness to new ideas and continues in concrete structures that enable learning and make it effective. Because development does not happen by chance, but through deliberate action.

Learning means taking responsibility

One of our core values is taking responsibility – including for our own development. At Nexus Group, we encourage initiative and expect people to be willing to think outside the box. Those who work for us should not only fulfill their tasks, but also help shape and contribute ideas.

This also means that we learn not only for ourselves, but also for the team. Sharing knowledge is just as important as building knowledge. In regular formats such as team retrospectives, professional exchange rounds, or cross-departmental sessions, we consciously create spaces in which experiences can be reflected upon and learned from each other.

Structures that promote growth

Clarity and focus are crucial for learning to find its place in everyday life. That's why we rely on individual development plans that are drawn up together with managers. These plans help define personal goals, identify learning needs, and find the right formats – whether that's specialist training, coaching, learning on the job, or external input.

We also make sure that continuing education is not seen as something “on top” but as an integral part of everyday work. We are convinced that real growth does not take place in the classroom but in the work context – where challenges meet new perspectives.

An example from our marketing team

Our learning approach is currently particularly evident in the marketing team. Here, we are intensively examining the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence.

Technology is changing our field of work at a rapid pace – and we don't just want to keep up, we want to help shape it. To make this possible, we want to establish a format that promotes continuous learning in a structured way. Regular AI meetings provide space for exchange, updates, and practical examples.

At the same time, we work with individual development plans in which each team member sets out their goals for working with AI technologies and describes how these can be achieved. This creates a concrete learning process that has an impact within the team, in everyday work, and ultimately for our customers.
