How we created a collaborative corporate culture that makes remote collaboration successful

Collaboration knows no boundaries: thanks to trust, clear communication, and shared values, we are now more successful at remote working than ever before—connected, motivated, and future-oriented.

The world of work is changing rapidly—and with it, the way teams work together. We realized early on that if we wanted to be successful in the long term, we had to create a corporate culture that enabled collaboration across borders—regardless of whether someone was working in the office, from home, or somewhere else entirely.

Today, we can say that our collaborative culture is at the heart of our successful remote collaboration.

Trust as a foundation

The most important step was to make trust the basis of our collaboration. We have deliberately created an environment that focuses on personal responsibility and mutual trust. Decisions are made transparently, information is shared openly, and every voice counts. This trust is the reason why our teams today work together independently, efficiently, and with enthusiasm – even when they are not in the same place.

Communication that connects

We have designed our communication structures to be open, digital, and human. In addition to professional exchange formats via tools such as Microsoft Teams or Slack, we specifically create space for informal encounters, for example in virtual coffee breaks or in cross-team exchange formats. The result is a strong sense of cohesion that remains palpable even across distances.

Shared values and goals

Our culture is based on shared values and clear goals that provide orientation. We regularly discuss what we stand for and what drives us as a team. Everyone knows what contribution they make to the big picture. This shared understanding motivates us and gives us a clear direction, even in a remote context.

Active promotion of digital collaboration

For us, remote collaboration is not a product of chance, but a consciously designed process. We specifically promote digital collaboration through regular team workshops, virtual retrospectives, and training on modern tools and methods. This has strengthened digital literacy throughout the company and taken collaboration to a new level.

A culture of feedback and psychological safety

Open feedback has become an integral part of our culture. We want everyone to feel confident in contributing ideas or expressing criticism without fear of negative consequences. This psychological safety has led to faster innovation and the joint overcoming of challenges. Mistakes are not punished, but rather viewed as learning opportunities.

Our conclusion

Today, we benefit daily from the decision to anchor collaboration as a core strategic element of our culture. Our teams are connected, motivated, and productive—no matter where they work from. For us, a collaborative corporate culture is not only a factor for success, but also the foundation on which we grow as a company and shape the future together.
